Hypnotherapy for Older Australians
Combining clinical rehabilitation training with hypnotherapy and NLP, Rylee Kellahan specialises in helping older Australians find peace, reduce anxiety and improve quality of life — including those navigating end of life. Home visits available. HCP funding accepted.
Rylee Kellahan brings a uniquely holistic approach to wellbeing — grounded in academic studies in psychology and rehabilitation counselling at Griffith University, and deepened by years of lived experience working with vulnerable populations.
With a calm, non-clinical style that resonates with older clients, Rylee creates a safe and effective space for profound personal change. Sessions are structured and professional, while remaining warm and accessible for clients who may be unfamiliar with hypnotherapy.
Rylee has worked with older clients on a wide range of goals — from improving sleep that has been poor for years, to supporting clients through the grief of losing a partner, to working with clients in their final months to find acceptance and peace with death.

Services for older Australians
Sleep improvement & insomnia
Hypnotherapy works directly with the unconscious patterns that keep the mind active at night, creating lasting improvement in sleep quality.
Anxiety & stress reduction
Addresses the unconscious drivers of anxious thinking and installs calm, regulated responses.
Pain management & fascia work
Changes how the mind processes and responds to pain signals. Fascial tension work addresses pain held in the body's connective tissue.
Grief & loss
Allows grief to process and move rather than remain frozen in the unconscious mind.
Confidence & independence
Rebuilds confidence at the unconscious level, supporting greater independence and wellbeing.
Pattern & habit change
Single sessions available for smoking cessation, food habits and other ingrained behaviours.
End-of-life peace
Gentle, profound work addressing fear of death, unresolved emotions and the desire to leave peacefully.
Death acceptance
Helps clients move from fear to acceptance — finding peace with the natural cycle of life.
Emotional processing
Releases long-held anger, guilt, regret or sadness from their root using Timeline Therapy and emotional change work.
End-of-Life Peace Programme
A structured five-session programme for older Australians navigating the end of life — including those with a terminal diagnosis, those in aged care, and those supporting a loved one through the final stages.
The programme works progressively through fear, unresolved emotions, limiting beliefs about death, values and meaning, and ultimately toward genuine peace and acceptance. One session per week.
Assessment & Emotional Clearing
Understand the client's specific fears and unresolved emotions. Begin emotional clearing — releasing fear, grief and regret from their root.
Limiting Beliefs About Death
Address specific beliefs and fears about what death means. Dissolve fear-based beliefs and install peace-based alternatives.
Unfinished Business & Forgiveness
Address unresolved relationships, regrets, unexpressed feelings. Forgiveness work — of self and others.
Values, Meaning & Legacy
Explore what the client values most, what their life has meant and what legacy they leave.
Integration & Peace
Final integration. Address remaining concerns. Consolidate the shift from fear to acceptance. Leave the client with tools and ongoing support.
Pain management
Chronic pain management
Hypnotherapy works with the mind's processing of pain signals, reducing suffering associated with persistent pain. Clients with arthritis, neuropathic pain, cancer-related pain and other chronic conditions have reported significant relief. This complements medical pain management.
Fascia and body tension
Tension held in the fascia is often related to stored emotional stress and chronic anxiety. Hypnotherapy and NLP address the emotional and psychological components of fascial tension, supporting improved comfort and movement.
